The Ecogrid range is perfect for the equine market, we supply a ful range of recycled plastic fencing which can cost almost the same as timber fencing with a minimum five times the life span with virtually no maintenance. The choice is clear.
We offer pads, pre-fitted with Ecogrid soft surfaces, ideal for stables and where a more forgiving base is required. Pads come pre-fitted on an Ecogrid E30 base. Stable and simple fitting.

Have you ever considered the case for truly preparing a paddock properly with an Ecogrid topping. So we have the base, the drains, the drainage layer then the Ecogrid surface which is filled with topsoil and then seeded. Here, we end up with a surface that is hard wearing, freely draining and grass cannot be completely removed as there is a plastic prevention and protection layer.

Building your own all weather riding arena involves a lot of careful planning and research. All to many arenas are built and fail. Whether this be due to poor construction or poor product. We have put together some complete all weather riding arena packages to possibly make life a little easier for you. We are here to offer a friendly helping hand. We have any size manege package available for you, however for the purpose of an excercise in product placement, we have kept to the standard 20m x 40m arena
Example package 20 metres x 40 metre.
2 rolls of 90g woven membrane : This is necessary as both a ground stabilisation and weed inhibiting layer. It is laid on the soil level.
2 rolls of NW8 105 g fleece membrane : This layer goes on top of the free draining hardcore layer. Fleece membrane or needle punched membrane is used as it doesn't have e tendancy to lift above the top layers.
10 rolls of textile tape : To ensure that the fleece layer remains in place. You can use pins if you wish.
800m2 Ecogrid S50 : This sits on the fleece layer and is generally filled with free draining sand. Provides a good cusioned surface. A further topping of straw, shredded rubber etc. Can be placed on the top for further cushioning.
41 x100mm x 100mm x 2150mm KLP posts : These posts from Lankhorst arecompletely maintenance free and highly durable. Do the job right, first time. Designed to be concreted in the ground 500-600mm. Designed to be placed 1.5 metres apart.
71 x 100mm x 30mm beams : Also completely maintenance free. Can be either bolted or nailed using suitable pins. Enough rails to allow for a 10-15mm expansion gap.
Obviously if some of the items are not required, take them off. We have a full quotation service and can recommend installation engineers.
